Thanks to its wide range of applications, the Atomic Bent Chetler 100 has gained quite a large following over the course of the last few years. The fact that both park skiers and backcountry touring enthusiasts can look to this ski as a sufficient tool for their own skiing is a true testament to the versatility of this ski. At 100 millimeters under the boot, the Bent Chetler 100 provides plenty of versatility as an all-mountain ski. A generous amount of camber and a full sidewall construction provide enough of a backbone and power when conditions are firmer than desired while a twin rocker profile and Atomic's HRZN Tip technology provide great float and maneuverability in deep snow. The twin tip shape and snappy flex make the Bent Chetler 100 a ski of great interest to park skiers, especially those who prefer a bit of a wider platform. A lightweight wood core and a moderately wide profile make the Bent Chetler 100 a great AT option as well. Pair it with a binding like an Atomic Shift and you have a great resort setup with Alpine Touring capabilities. Depending on your desired performance form this ski, there are a number of recommended mounting points that would suit certain style of skiing better than others. A more centered mount would be beneficial for skiers looking to use this ski for more of a freestyle tool, whereas a more traditional mounting point further back from center would be more beneficial for skiers who intend use it as more of an all-mountain ski or as a powder ski. Overall, the Bent Chetler 100 is a super versatile and fun ski that a lot of different skiers would enjoy.
