Once again the industry standard for all mountain freeride skis receives a re-design from top to bottom. The 6th generation M6 Mantra highlights 3 key technologies offered on one ski for the first time ever. With 3D Radius Sidecut designs, the new Mantra is able to change its turn shape on the skier's command, thanks to longer radii in the tip and tail combined with a tighter radius under the foot. First introduced as a one-off on the Deacon V-WERKS, Völkl engineers implemented Tailored Carbon Tip technology, creating a much lighter construction with incredibly precise turn initiation - edge changes this quick have never been possible on a 96mm ski. Third, a completely new Tailored Titanal Frame has evolved to customize the length of each ski to the skier's energy output and ability level - on the longer sizes the metal bands in the ski are wider, giving the heavier, more energetic skier more performance. Go with a shorter length and the ski construction becomes far easier-handling - it's up to you, and with the right length this model will never tell you how you have to ski - quite the opposite, it puts the skier in total control.
